I am so excited to be choreographing for the first time with the incredible cast of "Levitating." Coming to Barnard with little dance experience, Orchesis has been the most incredible experience, and I can't wait to continue learning and growing and creating with you all. To all of my dancers, thank you so much for bringing this song to life with your confidence, radiance, and amazingness. This piece simply serves as another reason to jump on the Dua bandwagon, and I loved spending Wednesday nights with all of you <33 love always, Ava

I feel so incredibly lucky to have spent the past 8 semesters dancing and 6 of those semesters choreographing with Orchesis. It has truly been the highlight of my time at Barnard. To my incredible cast - thank you so much for all of your hard work and beautiful dancing. It was an honor to spend my last semester dancing with all of you. I’m so excited for everyone to see what we made:) xoxoxo

I am so amazed by my cast’s hard work, dedication, and great attitudes.  They stuck it out through our late night Monday rehearsals on Zoom, and did it with smiles on their faces!  It was super fun to create this piece with them, especially because of how positive their attitudes were and how willing they all were to try anything.  They are such an impressive group and I am so proud of them!

Even though we only met for four rehearsals—because we somehow finished the entire choreography that quickly—you all made this zoom dance experience very fun :) I’m really happy that I had such a great cast for my first time choreographing for Orchesis, and I hope we will have the opportunity dance together in person this fall <3
